The high banked mile long concrete track at Dover, Delaware is often dubbed Bristol on steroids. AJ Allmendinger has an average starting spot of 19th and an average finish of 36th at the Monster Mile. Those statistics aren’t necessarily indicative of how he has run there however, as two of his only four starts at the track were marred by mechanical problems. Expect to see AJ digging right along that inside line on Sunday, rooting his way to the front.
